Est. 2016

Welcome to The Mt. Lebanon Inline Hockey Association

Est. March 2016

Established in 2016,  The Mt. Lebanon Inline Hockey Association is a club sport headquartered in Mt. Lebanon, PA.

The goal of the Mt. Lebanon Inline Hockey program is to allow as many boys and girls (skaters) as possible to compete  from grades 3 through 12.  The tryout process evaluates and places skaters at the correct team level so that the skater can safely play, remain competitive, and build their skills.   Tryouts consist of skating, shooting, and scrimmaging drills. Tryouts are for High School, Middle School and Elementary levels.

Tryouts for the Fall-Winter Season is in May.  Players can also play in the Spring Recreational Season to get their start in the program.  The program is fortunate to have dedicated volunteer coaches (many are parents in the program) who run each team, including handling weekly communications and practices.  All coaches receive certification through the PIRHL and necessary clearances to work with minors.

The Fall-Winter playing season begins in September with seeding tournament games.  Teams play from October through February.  Playoffs follow the end of the regular season and often last until  mid to end of March.  Games are played on weekends.  Typically there is one game scheduled per weekend, but occasionally two games will be scheduled.   There are 4 venues in our area.   The league we are associated with is the PIRHL,  PA Interscholastic Roller Hockey League.  If your child is chosen as a  PIRHL All-Star, the games are played at the end of the season.

Each team practices at least 3-4 times a month at our home rink in Bridgeville, Pa.  Practices are weekday evenings.   Additional skills or practices can be planned by your team’s coach at a separate additional expense, if any expenses are incurred.

Skater dues include league fees (excluding All Star game expenses, if any), referee fees, and practice time fees as designated at the beginning of the season .  Required equipment can be found on our EQUIPMENT page.

There are many local developmental skating programs year round at all the 4 venues.
